Marissa Joy is a Victim of Parental Kidnapping
by her mother (Karin Kvistad) and taken to Europe.

It is believed that she has been taken to Tossa De Mar, Spain.

Her father, Robert Skelton, hasn’t seen his 21 month old daughter since March 3, 2006.

This is an open case with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (877) 446-2632 and the United States Department of State, Office of Children’s Issues (202) 736-9133.

The Hague Convention application and documentation are being prepared for final translation to begin this process of bringing the abducting parent and baby back to the United States through orders of the Foreign Courts.

Local and Federal law enforcement are diligently working this abduction case and include Edgewater Police Department, Volusia County Sheriff’s Department, and The Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.).

Felony Arrest Warrants have just been issued against the mother (Karin Kvistad) by the Florida State Attorney’s Office. The F.B.I. is now pursuing Federal Felony Warrants from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Daytona Beach, Florida.
